Meet the Artist
Hi, I am Stacy! Welcome to my online studio!
Being creative is the reason I live. I am an extrovert. I love to laugh, love, and work hard. Blue has my heart. There are not many shades of blue that I don’t love. The beach is where I find my serenity. The ocean is music to me. Music makes my soul turn. I like to find the silver lining in any situation. I am a wife of many years, and mother to my 7 year old daughter and 15 year old son, and dog-mom to our furbaby.
I started STELLA MARIS DESIGN STUDIO 13 years ago out of my home, and it has been a fun journey ever since! I have always been thrifting and crafting. I wouldn’t say that I have ever really had “money,” so, I have always been finding ways to beautify my space and offer this to others through up-cycling beautiful home decor and designs. I started this myself even before I had a business. It was my way of always being creative. But, it also meant that most of my money was spent on home decor! Junkstock was my first leap to really try to grow this passion of mine. I was one of the original 25 vendors when Junkstock started 11 years ago. It wasn’t until about four years ago that I startedd painting. Becoming an artist just happened when I couldn’t find a piece that I wanted and decided to paint it myself!
I welcome you to my online studio and would love to work with you to beautify your space! If you are interested in a commissions art piece or any of my DIY projects, let me know!
